This year's conference will be hosted at the Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 Second Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Conference Purpose

The purpose of the National Conference is to help improve and sustain the effectiveness and reach of tobacco control programs and activities in the United States.

Conference participants will

  • Learn the latest evidence on what works in tobacco control and how to apply current research findings
  • Learn practical ways to improve tobacco control programs and activities
  • Renew their energy and commitment to tobacco control
  • Exchange valuable ideas and tips with colleagues
  • Identify resource people they can contact after the conference

Whether your interests lie in prevention, cessation, or research; whether you are a student, program manager, or seasoned advocate; and whether you work at the local, State, or national level, the 2007 National Conference will have something for you.
